I think this is rather indicative of how little attention people pay when they are in a car. Regardless of anything else, a car is not something to just jump in and go. So many have thrown common sense and safety out the window when it comes to driving and responsibility. Much like the idjits in the large 4x4 SUVs that think they are invulnerable on icy roads and drive around like they are on dry clean roads.

I don't think this applies to just women. It says she was impaired and guys drive drunk too. I am sure if we pulled up the police blotters we would find equal number of men and women driving issues. I see more men and especially younger men and teen boys doing stupid stuff more often then I see women in similar situations.

Young guys do the "stupid" stuff, where young girls tend to talk on their cell phone, do their makeup, change the music and drink their bottle of water....at the same time
