Actually that's the kind of mundane stuff I tend to worry about. Loose items in cars and even bees in cars. Some news article or another once said that insects were possibly a cause of at least some of the unexplainable one car fatal crashes.

How sad for her family and how unnecessary, but I bet lots of people don't think about things like that happening.

I think it's just good practice to keep stuff out of the drivers compartment as much as possible. I know that's not entirely realistic but likely the safest option. Personally though I tend to have more stuff in the cabin than in the trunk, one day I'll get hit by a flying napkin or something.

I would never carry a laptop or computer parts in my car however. That's all I need, to die in a manner where W A S D is permanently stamped on my forehead.

Actually I ought to worry about my purse. That is the one thing I do always have in my car and it's so filled with stuff it would doubtlessly qualify as a weapon flying around in the car.
