UFO's in Canada
The REAL story of where D00l came from:
UFO sightings in Canada hit record high
882 reports last year: local survey
Mon Feb 21 2005
THERE were no little green men to be seen but there were plenty of strange occurrences in the night sky as a record 882 UFO sightings were recorded in Canada last year, according to a national survey by Ufology Research of Manitoba.
Included in the reports were disc-shaped objects, spectacular fireballs and a large black triangular object moving through the sky.
Chris Rutkowski, research coordinator for Ufology Research of Manitoba, said the results show that people still have a fascination with what's going on up above.
"People are curious about the universe," said Rutkowski.
The 882 sightings in 2004 represent a 31 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
Rutkowski says he's not exactly sure what caused the jump, although the number has been growing steadily over the last several years. He said in past years, increases have been tied to the popularity of TV shows like the X-Files or significant events like the Millennium.
Rutkowski said one explanation for the 2004 figure might simply be due to more UFO reporting sites on the Internet.
For the last five years B.C. recorded the highest number of sightings, however, this year they finished second with 247. Ontario led the country with 254 reports and Manitoba was third with 112 sightings.
Records show that more than 5,000 UFO sightings have been officially reported in Canada since 1989. In most cases, Rutkowski said the sighting can be explained. More often than not it's simply a satellite, a chunk of a flaming asteroid or some kind of military training exercise.
In 2004, about 15 per cent of all UFO reports were unexplained.

UFO's flew more in Canada last year because the weather was so bad in the USA and Mexico. Even alien's don't want to fly in storms all the time.
...and at this very moment I'm watching an ABC special on UFO's.

I wasn't a "Star Trek" fan because I wasn't too crazy about William Shatner  liked Spock, though. Does anyone remember "Lost in Space"? That was a great show...Guy Williams, who I think played "Zorro", too, was in it!! He was haut in those days!!
