Default U.S. couple chooses funeral home for wedding site..

where they mourned late spouses....

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Daisy Judy and John Franko thought the funeral home where they mourned their late spouses was the perfect place to tie the knot because it was there that they met.

The couple, both 62, were married at the Richards Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.

"The ceremony was very pretty. They had a harpist and flutist playing together," said Rev. Orby Estep, who officiated.

The couple met at the funeral home in 2004 while attending meetings of a grief support group. Each was mourning the death of a spouse of more than 40 years.

After attending the group meetings, the couple became bicycling partners and later passed evenings talking on Judy's porch.

That is a lovely story. It seems a bit weird. But as I have lived next to a churchyard for 2 decades, I am not surprised at all.

Hopefully this will be a once in a lifetime experience for the both of them.

I don't know...it sounds like they still need additional support group meetings in dealing with the death of their previous spouse.

At least they have their personal-group hugger. And as they are married, then nothing should stop them from compensatory sex ;-)

It is a nice little love story.....but I don't think I would've chosen to get married at the funeral home though.
