Deceased Steelers fan laid out at funeral home on recliner in front of TV.

The 55 year old man died of Prostrate Cancer. The Funeral Home erected a small stage in a viewing room and arranged furniture on it much as it was in his home on game day Sundays.
His body was on the recliner, his feet crossed and a remote in his hand. He wore black and gold silk pajamas, slippers and a robe. A pack of cigarettes and a beer were at his side, while a high-definition television played a continuous loop of Steelers highlights.
His sister said "It was just like he was at home."

I'm a huge football fan myself, I hope my family doesn't decide to do the same with me! My only hope is that my family never learns which team it is that I love....

I like that idea! how original is that? I think it's great that they did that for him. this was his favorite thing to do and they were celebrating in a way. I think that's a great way to have a funeral.
