Mom Reportedly Throws Baby at Boyfriend in Domestic Dispute

ERIE, Pa. Ã¢Â€Â” A woman used her 4-week-old baby as a weapon in a domestic dispute, swinging the infant through the air and striking her boyfriend with the child, authorities said. The baby was critically injured in the attack early Sunday, said District Attorney Bradley Foulk.

"Never, never, never. I can never remember anything like this," Foulk told the Erie Times-News.

Chytoria Graham, 27, of Erie, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. She was held Monday in the Erie County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The infant, whose name and gender were not released, was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh. Authorities did not identify the hospital, and the baby's condition Monday was not released.

There was no immediate indication whether the man Graham is accused of attacking was the baby's father.

Authorities removed four other children from Graham's home and placed them with the Erie County Office of Children and Youth, Foulk said.

She could've hurled her baby at a complete stranger and it's still just as bad.

Probably because he would get 50 years in jail if he is the father, and will get compensation if he is not?!?

thta woman has no right being a mother. none at all whatsoever! it breaks my heart to think of what that poor little deffensless baby went through. the crying!! OMG!! I hopw they keep that baby as far away from her as possible for the rest of her pathetic life. things like this really anger me to no end.

who cares if this guy was the baby's father or not. that's just pointless. I do wonder though why the guy couldn't of stopped all of this somehow. take an opportunity to grab onto that poor little baby and run or somehting! what did HE do? jsut stand there and let all this happen?
