A hapless Polish pedestrian was left bruised and battered after he acted as a safety net for a 50kg Saint Bernard dog that had been thrown out of a second-storey window by its drunken owners in southern Poland. "Despite the weight of the dog, the passerby only sustained a few scratches and did not need to go to hospital," a policeman said. "The dog wasn’t hurt either," he added.

Good thing that guy was in shape. I'm not sure what 50 kg is but those dogs weigh over 100 pounds!
