How did she manage to get past all the Media and then do an interview in French because she says the English-speaking Media was cruel to her?

What do you think her life will be like now?

That interview just proves what kind of person she is. She had 12 years to learn the french language (because she's not originally french speaking) and she wanted to show that off. She manipulated the justice system to the max and that was another performance of her manipulations. She loves being in the spotlight, just like every other serial killer does. She was out for what? 2 to 3 hours and there was already an interview?!? Shows how sick and retarded she is.

I am totally disgusted and angry at our justice system. She killed her sister and two other young teenage girls and she's walking the streets free as a bird after only 12 years of doing time. what's wrong with this picture?

Did you see the interview? If so, did you see how empty and cold her eyes are? She's pure evil and she will re-offend. She'll be good for the first year, then the demands will be lifted and she'll get back to being her sick self again.

What really kills me is how she "fears for her safety" and she's scared. well you know what? what comes around goes around. Did she care how scared those poor 3 girls were before she killed them? she enjoyed that. Let her squirm. She's now living in the province where the Hells Angels (bike gang) are living. she better never go out for a walk. Too many people want to hurt her out there. She'll wish she'd spent the rest of her life in jail.

I think i'd spit in her face and throw rocks at her if I ever saw her walking the streets of st. catharines. We don't want to see her face anywhere near this city.

You know, my kids were 5 and 1 when she started to do her time. now I have a 17 and a 13 year old and she's out there loose. it scares me to death because my kids are now at the age that she loves to have them. Her little sister was only 13 when she died (they said 15 in some of the news but she was 13) Lestley was 14 and kristen was 15.

Now she'll be living in my home province of quebec. I was born there, my relatives all live there.

I can't believe that she's out there walking the streets. it's sick and i'm embarassed of our slack niagara justice system.

I did see the interview and that's exactly what I thought, how cold and empty her eyes were!!
She should fear for her safety for what she's done! She will continually be looking behind her and everywhere else.
Three young people who never had a chance to live their lives, their families devastated forever, and she's out there free! It isn't right, it isn't right, at all!
I pray for the poor families of those murdered girls, I can't imagine the pain they are feeling tonight!

I know she's in fear for her life and has received plenty of death threats both inside and out of jail. She's a tard so she'll likely cut a movie deal and become rich because we're all stupid enough to pay to see it and thus support her for being a psyco.

part of that deal was that she can never make any money from her stories. If she did that, she'd be right back in jail.

There is a movie coming out in the fall but she nor paul has anything to do with it. It's called Deadly, the perfect couple. I hope she doesn't get a day of peace. I hope people will continue to haunt her and threaten her. People like to make fun of Texas and Florida....but if she had done this in either of THOSE states....she would be charcoal about now.

She and Paul are two good reasons why the death penalty should be brought back to Canada. Although, if you think about it, she being out there, walking the streets, being scared that people will hunt her down and kill her is a better punishment then getting stuck with a needle or electrocuted(SP?). Whoever will kill her, will torture her before they do and that's her just deserts. eye for an eye as far as she's concerned. Somebody out there will want to be the "hero" and won't mind spending a lifetime in jail for killing her. She's a walking target right now and THAT looks good on her!

There's no place in this entire country where she will be safe and be able to live a normal life. no matter where she goes, her life is in danger and THAT makes me happy!

Her media ban and protection from the police will again be denied and continue to be denied. the public needs protection from her and nobody will want to spend their tax dollars on protecting her sorry arse.

I can't even stand to see her face on the news. she makes me sick!

they do and always have even though she killed her little sister. Her ather, apparently isn't sure about what his relationship is with karla but her mother and other sister have been supportive towards her. in fact, i heard on the news that her mother was to live with her when she got out in montreal.

If one of my daughters killed my other daughter, i don't think i could forgive that. the one that did the killing would be disowned i think. I don't understand how her mother can support her after what she's done to 3 families, including her own and god knows how many more there were that are left unsolved.

I read in today's paper that Paul Bernardo (seems to want some of the limelight Karla is getting) says that it was all her fault that the murders happened. He said it was Karla that choked one of the girls when her blindfold fell off and Karla was wild! He, however, said that he wanted to let the girl or girls go. I just shook my head reading all this, unbelievable, worse than a movie!

most people believe that karla was the one who did the killing. Paul was a serial rapist. he never killed anyone (not saying that rape is any better then murder-just as bad IMO) until he hooked up with karla. I've always believed she was the one who enjoyed taking lives.

Her cry of abused woman syndrome didn't fly with most people around here. it was all part of her master manipulation plan. she probably gave herself those black eyes. wouldn't surprise me a bit if they proved that at some point. she's that sick.

With the terrorist attacks and people like these two, and others who kidnap, molest, abuse children, it's very sad in this day and age!
There is so much help out there now for just about every problem under the sun, look at this Website and the support anyone can get here, why is there still so much grief and unhappiness and loneliness...I could go on and on!
I'm just sick over all this!
