Karla Homolka and Paul Banardo

This is a big topic here where I live since it happened in my city. Karla is due to get out of prison (if you can call where she is a prison :roll: ) very soon. Paul will never get out. He'll remain in Kingston Prison forever.

There will be a movie coming out this year sometime in theaters. I do plan on seeing the movie. I think that we all have the right to know what happened exactly so that we can all be fully aware of things like this.

Great topic star! I don't have a lot to say about it except that they are sick, she definetly shouldn't be getting out and I'll probably see the film eventually just out of curiousity.

She only got 12 years and she'll be done doing those very soon. I thik this year in july or something like that. She cut a deal with them before all the tapes came out. She litterally got away with murder.

Paul was the scarborough serial rapist for years. He never killed anyone until he hooked up with her. The 2 of them together became very dangerous. 2 sickos. They even killed her 13 year old little sister. She is one sick puppy that should be locked away for life.

I don't know how I missed this yesterday. I read the first couple of chapters and will read the rest after posting. I watch Court TV all the time and hadn't heard of this one.

Too bad it didn't happen in Texas ...so we could FRY them! How in the world could they justify letting her out of prison? She's messed up. You know good and well....she'll find another guy and start her sick behavior again.

she only got 12 years for taking part in the killing of 2 teenage girls. they weren't even charged with the murder of her own sister! She's playing the abused woman part. she states that she was forced to do all these terrible things by Paul and she was afraid that he's kill her if she didn't comply with his wishes. She's full of crap! You wouldn't believe how many people out there actually fell for her playing the victim role. Nopbody around here but everywhere else, some believe it.

I hope that when she does get out that she gets it good from someone. I don't think she's come back to this town. she'd be an idiot to come back here.

all fun aside though. no matter where she lands her sick self in canada, people know who she is and she won't be accepted. Unless she has a complete plastic surgery to her face and changes her whole look. it wouldn't surprise me any if the government will do that for her to keep her safe. :roll:

Interestingly enough, in the Netherlands there would be an option to keep her incarcerated (sp?) for the rest of her life. She would have been sentenced for xx years in prison, and afterwards forced psychotherapy behind the walls. As these cases are so extreme, most psychiatrists / therapists, would consider her incurable, effectively keeping her behind bars.

It would be nice if things worked that way here in Canada but unfortunately, it doesn't.

It's really sad how society is put at risk because of a technicality gone wrong. They apparently couldn't go back on the deal made with her in the first place. I don't think deals should be made in the first place. especially when it involves murder, rape or molestation. I think these deals are absurd.

I've got breakfast television on and just heard that karla's supposed to be released next month sometime! I can't believe that this monster is allowed to walk the streets again. She won't be coming back to this city if she knows what's good for her. She's in quebec right now. I'm curious as to see where she'll end up. Wherever she goes, the justice system will keep a close eye on her, so they stated. I think she'll go out west.

I remember hearing in Sunday School once that God didn't care if someone stole a nickle or a million.....it meant they had the heart of a thief and until they dealt with it....they would continue to be plagued by it.

I think the same principal applies to this woman. She has the heart of a murderer.
