Good Lord, I hope she gets a huge settlement because one can never truly make up for the loss of a body part especially when there was no need for it in the first place.

All the more reason to get a second and maybe even a third opinion! OMG. Just the thought of something like that gives me chills. To just be sorry isn't enough. I hope they lose their licenses to practice.

I would think in this day and age its probably best to always get a second opinion on any type of major surgery.
