Default Getting Older Equals Happier

CANOE -- CNEWS - Daily Feature: Old age is the happiest time: research

Eye opening research found the happiest Americans are the oldest and happiest....

--------------------------------------------------------------

I think that probably works for us Canadians and other parts of the world. I know I just get happier and more grateful as I age. It's also a positive thing for you youngsters to look forward to!

Oh yes!

There is hope

for me!

Seriously, my cynic side is too predominant for me to be happy.

Which reminds me, I should still write that treatise on the subject of why stupidity should be a criminal offense.

I still need to write it.

Main reason though is that people claim that it is not in the manual, it should be possible. Or claim that because they did not know the law, they should not be punished for drunk driving or something like that.

As a consequence, the manual for rubber bands is now 50 pages or something like that, just to avoid legal responsibility for people's stupidity. Thus the manual, for legal reasons, has to assume that every user is a retard. I hate that.

Isn't there a saying something like "ignorance is no excuse"?

Sadly, that does not seem to hold in a court of law.
