Well it was very bright in my apartment last night which is why I was asking because the moon was definitely close to full if it wasn't full.

Yes, I think so, because if you know it's a full moon you can be better prepared for the way people act towards you on that day! The full moon does bring out the 'worst' of people in work places, seniors homes, hospitals, etc.

The purpose of the Hot Topic area though is for topics that are not just news but that people are passionate about to the positive or negative extreme. Anything else in my opinion is simply a topic which is a better fit for the world around us.
