Fan takes Posthumous NASCAR spin
CANOE -- CNEWS - Weird News: Fan takes posthumous NASCAR spin
Driver Mike Harmon taped Helms' urn to the fire extinguisher of his Nationwide Series car....
--------------------------------------------------------------------
That is REALLY honouring a fan's dream even in death.

Re: Fan takes Posthumous NASCAR spin
It was a good race last weekend, the highlight being Jeff Gordon hitting a gap in the inner wall at close to 190 MPH and tearing the front of his car off. He sure is one fine race car driver but no one reminds me of a weasel more than he does, well him and Roger Federer.

Re: Fan takes Posthumous NASCAR spin
Ya? Same holds for 400m sprints. Or horse racing. Does not disqualify the sport though.

Re: Fan takes Posthumous NASCAR spin
Not that hysterical. #3 belonged to Dale Earnhardt, one of the greatest drivers ever in NASCAR who died in a freak accident.

Re: Fan takes Posthumous NASCAR spin
Shaving his number into one's back hair is probably an honor, then. I'm not sure, I'm not a NASCAR fan.
It's a *poke.* A joke. The pic is definately not a disparaging reflection of a dying man.

Good post, IvyRose! I felt badly for laughing, not knowing #3 stood for Dale Ernhardt.
