A disabled man is upset for being delayed 4 1/2 hours by Canada Customs because he failed to license his pet dog. The man was returning from vacation when he was pulled aside at the Airport. He is vision-impaired from a brain injury and walks with a white cane. He was handcuffed and roughly frisked against a wall and police were called to arrest him, saying there was a Canada-wide warrant issued for him.
It was after several tense hours that it was discovered that the warrant stemmed from an allegation that he had failed to register his dog.

Idiots of customs.

And the man is lucky. Some countries probably assume the worst, and thus that the dog is carrying diseases - and kill the dog, just to be certain.
