He used church as an excuse but what I heard yesterday was he really wanted to just see if he could drive. He had been playing video games that required driving. The officer asked if he had ever driven before and he said no, that he just watched his mom and dad and picked it up. The police said he actually did a pretty good job.

another prime example of kids getting away with things. honestly! 4 days without TV or video games?!? the punishment doesn't fit the crime at all. he could've killed someone. granted he is only 7 but, he's a 7 year old that knew that driving a car was wrong and led police into a chase then got out and ran. 4 days.....he won't learn anything out this one.

Yes, I would think he would have more 'punishment' than that. Maybe there's more to it than that, but the punishment I posted above is all that he received according to the website I visited.

I agree with Star. That isn't going to teach him anything. I sure hope they have done more then they are reporting.
