New Member Saying Hello To All

Hi all...its a lonely day here today and I don't use my computer much but today I was kinda led to this site and knew I wasn't alone anymore.THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE !!!!!

I am so excited to be here and hope to get to know some of you.

A few quick facts about me .... I am a widow with two sons, now grown, I live near Raleigh, N.C. I love country living and have a farm in West Virginia also.
Fishing is my passion and I hope someday to meet that special someone to share the rest of my life with. In the meantime I would so much enjoy new friends.

My favorite quote is Tonto said to the Lone Ranger "Kiss my ass, I bought a boat and I'm going out to sea". I guess I'm a bit of a maverick.

Hello forreelin and welcome to Lifesupporters.com. This is a great place if you want to talk to people who truly care but I warn you, you may end up sitting at the computer more than you want to at times.

I've spent so much time here on occasion I only woke up because the WASD keys were digging into my cheek.

Keyboard is to low for my head to land on, I usually hit my drink and that wakes me up pretty quick.

Thank you all for the warming welcome. My husband passed away a few years ago and then came my first grandchild and I had a rebirth. It was so wonderful and brought me out into the living world again, (the one with people not just critters) but recently his mother decided to move to northern New York so the sleeping parties at Nana's came to an end. My little buddy stayed with me usually 4 days a week so you can see why this is difficult for me. On the bright side I just don't know how to stay down and be depressed, its not in me to not be happy in everyday living, I'm just a little lonely now, life is so much better shared with as many as possible. When we moved to NC I left all family behind and now with the boys grown (baby is a junior at NC STATE) I find myself on this lonely little farm. I'm really excited to have an opportunity to meet new friends. Again thank you for the welcome.......smiles....

This place is SO full of Posts and more coming by the day, a good way to get to know us! (Hope we pass muster, so you will continue to post). So once you catch up reading and responding to posts, just let me know and I'll think of something whether it makes sense...or not!

I'm a Grandma, too, and my granddaughters are 500 miles away, so we have something in common to commiserate about.

I'm SO sorry your husband passed away!
