Wiki is up and running.

The wiki is now up and running and can be found in the following manner (for now):

Click on Quick Links and in the dropdown menu, click "Issue Wiki" as demonstrated below.

This will change over time once the wiki starts to get populated. Once the wiki has a number of resources mapped out and content addition is underway, navigation will be added to the main navigation above the header images.

I have some content already but none of it is linked at this time because I'm not impressed with the menu system. I need to look into an automated menu system that will link in a manner consistent with the forums.

Either that or I'll have to create one manually which I don't want to do if possible.

Is this going to be a section inside Wikipaedia or is it some type of addon for Wikipaedia?

It's going to be a navigation bar that lists all the alphabet and expands to show what issues are contained in each letter when a user clicks on them.

Just so you know, I'm aware that there is an issue with the wiki background showing the gray color instead of the lined image that we see around the forums and main site. I'm not really sure why this is an issue as the code for the image background is in place and working in the forum, its just the wiki that is ignoring the image code and using the background color instead.

Perhaps at the start of the wiki code, all existing backgrounds are disabled? It is probably something like that.

I actually tried removing the RGB value prior to the image code and it didn't do a thing. I can see when I view the page source that the image is there:

background: #E1E1E2 url(images/oceanzero/oceanzero_bg.gif) repeat;

...yet it doesn't show up.

Hopefully Tech. Support can help me fix this issue.

That is very odd. Is the background of the wiki a color code, or is simply a file it uses, just as at LifeSupporters? Either the referencfe to the file would have to change, or you can change (replace) the file.

But better to go to Tech Support - no use of risking the integrity of the wiki

Ya, the gray color the wiki is using is the RGB value at the beginning of the code I posted above. I actually changed the color several times just to make sure the code was working, yet it still ignores the image.

My guess is that the image is coded somewhere in a template locally and the wiki is simply looking in the wrong place for the image. The question is, which template as there are literally thousands of hiding spots over hundreds of templates.

That is a pain in the derriere. The only sane chance you would have is to check when the particular template was last accessed. But even then you would be left with hundredds if not thousands of templates in all likelihood.
