Site Speed
How are you all finding the site speed, load times and uptime these days? I have to admit that the site slows to a crawl for me at times but I'm not sure if it's the site or my crappy connection from work?

Re: Site Speed
I haven't had any issues. This site and as a result my site were off line a couple nights ago. But that doesn't happen too often and I haven't noticed anything else.

Apparently our Webhost took our account offline because for some reason Lifesupporters vBulletin License was under question. I just don't have time to investigate the issue further but suffice to say cb is watching our support tickets to answer any questions the Webhost may have.
We have purchased another license (which I have yet to pay for, thanks cb!) for the interim so we shouldn't be offline again.

Re: Site Speed
No biggie. I doubt too many people missed going to my site. I did however miss coming here.

Re: Site Speed
I remember the days when we could go offline and absolutely no one would notice lol; now it's a major crisis at least where I'm concerned.

Re: Site Speed
It was a crisis for me. I was in the process of a post and didn't get to finish it. I will live however.

Re: Site Speed
No issues with site speed. It is just fine for me. Although about 2 days ago, I could not go on at some moment. However, I did not have the time to investigate for how long etc.

Re: Site Speed
After the site went offline, the next day, it was running at the speed of dialup, perhaps a bit worse in fact. now it's alot better and the pages pop up pretty dern quick. Certainly nothing noticeable.

Re: Site Speed
i noticed it was slow before it went offline, i had trouble loading pages, it would slow to a standstill, the next day it was offline, then when it came back everything actually seems to be running faster then normal.

Re: Site Speed
For whatever reason the server is experiencing heavy load as well as ram usage in and around mid 90%. Rest assured I'm looking into the issue to find out what can be done and/or if the root of the issue can be identified.
Also, the site will be offline sometime this weekend for maintenance at the database level. This means the forums too have to be shut down for a short period of time.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
