Signatures

I've been asked a few times in the past if I could create custom signatures for use in the forums. I fully plan on offering many choices for forum signatures as well as more options within the avatar gallery down the road.

For now, this will serve as the start for custom signatures at Lifesupporters.com. Please note, you do not have to use them, I just offer these up for anyone who wants to use the signatures here or at any other site.

How to use a signature at Lifesupporters.com:

1. Go to User CP => Edit Signature.
2. Click once on icon
3. Enter the Image Location (url) in the popup box: image locations (url's) can be found by the image examples below.
4. Click OK

...if you would like your banner to be a link to lifesupporters.com:

5. Click on Image in your "Edit Signature" box
6. Click once on
7. Please use http://www.lifesupporters.com as your link.
8. Click OK

I am unable to located Signatures after clicking on User Cp. Any help guys/gals ?

Signatures are disabled for new members until such time as they reach 5 or 10 forum posts (I forget which but I can double check). The reason for this setting is we had a number of spammer and bots register and I didn't want them to use their signatures as a backlink especially since much of what was being linked to was nefarious content.

After you've posted 5 or 10 times in our forums the signature option will become available, if not then please PM me directly.

No worries my friend. Have been wanting a general forum like this for quite a few years & now i have found it. No doubt a signature will be posted by me tonight before bedtime. Until then Have a great day. Have to get back to work, it's just end of my lunch break now

Duke will have to answer for sure but if you didn't see it as the first thing in the left column under User CP then it might be something only available after posting a few times, usually 10 posts. That way we know you aren't a spam bot or someone who joined for a one time post or something. By the way, welcome to Lifesupporters. We look forward to posting with you and getting to know you better. We are a very nice online family as you will soon discover.

Just as I thought, you are regarded as a "Registered User" up until you reach 5 posts, then you become an "Established Member" which removes Signature Restrictions, Private Messaging Restrictions and also gains you access to our community chatbox.
