I enabled it a few weeks back just out of curiosity more than anything. Eventually I'd like to add point benchmarks with prizes associated with them if possibe.

I guess you have a program which calculates all that....or you are a really busy man with a memo pad and a calculator. HAHA!

lol, no I just set the point rules and the database does all the calculating, much as it does total posts per user, hourly, weekly, daily, yearly page views onsite as well as a host of other great features. No wonder MYSQL is the world leader in database software something like 4 years in a row.

lol, it's because your a spammer.
Actually, much of what you do onsite gains you points. There are some big ones like using the "Recommend Us" Module and referring this site to someone you know gains you 50 points. I've also added generous amounts of points to those that either submit news or comment/vote on articles posted on the main page of this site.
This system essentially rewards members for being active on this site. The more active you are, the more points you gain.
