Our New Home
This thread is also to be used as but squashing during the transitional period.
Please take a moment and check out the look of our new site. If you all approve, I'll be making changes to this themes header to match the main site.
I've also added a poll to the main page so please take a moment and vote. Honesty is greatly appreciated!
The BETA site can be found here.
Thanks,
Ken

Re: Our New Home (BETA)
A lot of work has been done on the test site and it's nearing completion. All thats left now is continuing to add the old news items to the new site as well as creating alternate header images to rotate upon page refresh.
Check it out and please take a quick sec. to leave your vote.
Thanks.

Hey Duke, looks great.. nice work!
Not sure if you're aware of it, but when I visit that page a cPanel login window pops up. It probably has something to do with the stats block on the upper left.

Re: Our New Home (BETA)
I had the cPanel login as well everytime I changed pages. The site looks good. Can't wait until it is finished.

Ya, this is me showing everyone how retarded I am. I can't believe I left that up and running last night and just went to bed, but I got side tracked.
The problem with using Joomla as a CMS and vBulletin as forum software is there is no way of tracking who is doing what. Both will allow me to track whats going on separately but neither gives me the bigger picture as phpnuke does. Last night I was trying to see if there was a way to broadcast my awstats Server Info to the Joomla site but I was tired and not thinking clearly when I did it so you see the end result.
The issue has been corrected but if anyone here finds a way to integrate stats (either awstats or webalizer) into Joomla or vB, please let me know because I need my stat tracking at a site level.
Thanks.

Lol, you're such a dweeb :P
Did you look at some of the Joomla extensions that are available? Take a look here, perhaps there is something you can use.

I spent several hours in there actually and not one of these components does even a portion of what I need. I'm trying to track server stats, what files are getting the attention, how much traffic is coming in by search engines along with the where and why info.
I'm pretty sure that phpnuke had a component that did some of this as an addon but haven't been able to find it. What I may do is take the core phpnuke module and modify it with vB + Joomla page views to give me an idea of whats happening onsite. It won't be nearly as robust as awstats or webalizer but at least its a start.

Most of the software on this page is primarily back end component driven stat tracking with some front end module availability. Since it's nearly impossible to find what I want, I dl'd and installed a few different versions and came up with my own stat tracking.
Lifesupporters.com Stats Page.
Whaddya thunk?

Re: Our New Home (BETA)
That is pretty neat. I am impressed. Someday maybe I will understand all of this stuff and how to do it.

Re: Our New Home (BETA)
The news link for "Unfaithful Partners" doesn't go anywhere. It tries to load but never does.
