News Reporters
not physically or mentally, site wise.
I'm looking for one lucky candidate to help out with posting news on the front page. I can't promise you fame or fortune, just my undying gratitude.
I'm lucky if I get two articles on a week and that pill will be tougher to swallow once Half Life 2 is released and my gal comes to town. My time constraints are soon to be getting tighter even still with kidzone needing attention and release, ServersIndex needing a bazillion hours just to get it marginally functional, and another yet to be named, spin-off site.
Anyone interested can contact me via our Private Messaging system.
The requirements are as follows:
- must be articulate and reasonably well spoken.
- must post news only that fits within the guidelines of this site (I can explain if necessary).
- must post (at least) one article per week.
Interested parties will have their first articles critiqued and edited by myself prior to full access privileges to the final articles posted on the front page. This may only last for a few articles as I'll have to give you some pointers on how to dance around the faulty "Submit News" module that is included in phpnuke.
Thank you,
Ken.

I'm actually interested in anyone who can post news on a regular basis, at least one article per week would be helpful.

Thanks Isis.... but we have several members who would be wonderful at doing this. Maybe you could look up some information on teen issues to submit from time to time.

I'm going to be going on a little Christmas break in a few days, but afterwards I'd be happy to help if you need it.
Are these articles we write ourself? Or simply news articles we find perusing the web?

I can use all the help I can get keeping the front page fresh. It's kind of a mix between something you find on the net that you tailer to your own writing style. If it is an article from another site, we always try to give credit to that other site with a re-direct that opens in a new page.

For the most part, we're only posting family related news and I also have a topic for gaming. Maybe I can add one for entertainment as well if you want. I'm more interested in the family oriented news if possible though because it fits in with the theme of the site and may help those who come here and read instead of post.

I was kidding, sort of.
I'd really like to solicit opinions on elaborate Christmas Tree Light displays, to be honest. I found the following editorial, I'm not sure if it's better as a news item or a post.

As far as gaming news, When on Earth is Duke Nukem Forever coming out? The title is proving prophetic.

It's amazing how stupid some people get around Christmas.
As far as Duke Nukem Forever, well I'm sure you know the phrase as well as I, "when it's done". In other words never. Their on their second or third game engine which pretty much means re-working most, if not all of the levels, physics, skinning, ai, etc.

I read the message on the website.
I think they just got bored and started a new game. It's happened to me, developmentwise.
