Forums autostretch locked
You may have noticed that the forums would stretch way beyond the size of the header from day one. This has bothered me to no end and since I was unable to locate the root of the problem in the .tpl file code, I decided to lock the table sizes instead.
Now you may notice some problems in the forums and if you do, please be sure to post them here. I'm not sure how images larger than 400 px width will react to locked tables or how it may affect other forum actions such as posting, editing, moderating, splitting, moving, deleting posts.
Essentially, you are all now participants in my forum beta and I need your input to ensure the forums still function well without them looking poor (as they used to).
I hope this doesn't inconvenience anybody but I must say, the forums look much better compared to how they did just a short hour ago.
Thanks for your continued support and unending patience :!:
Sincerely,
ken

Thanks for sharing all that. It was such an interesting series of posts! LOL!
Seriously, I'm glad you were able to fix it. I've quit using line smileys because I think they add to the problem.

The smileys have absolutely nothing to do with the problem I think.
If you're concerned, I think there's a smiley topic here somewhere, add all the smileys you want to it that you know you'll use and I'll upload them all to the site. I want a smiley pack that will keep members happy and give them enough options.
I also have to edit many of the smileys we have as the pack of 1000 I got really suck from a logistical standpoint. Nothing worse than a large filesize or a smiley that has a white box around it when the background is a different color. I'm not sure who actually put together the smiley pack I downloaded but I am sure that whoever it was is lazier than hell.
Once my new smiley pack is complete, I'll be offering it up online for anyone who uses phpnuke such as I do. I'll have a dl mirror here to the file and ask that a mirror be placed at nukecops and Codewiz.
