I've attended several of their seminars around the country. Many law enforcement agencies send their personnel to these training sessions including the FBI, US Marshall service and the Border patrol.
The study of deceptive behavior is fascinating and you'll never again look at the news reports, excuses explanations or interviews in quite the same way.
As much of the truth is visible as we care to see.
Sometimes my husband yawns when I ask him a question. During those questions I think he's lying. Other times when I talk to him, he doesn't do this. What do you all think? Is he lying when he yawns?
For some reason reading your thread made me yawn, jk
I don't know if yawning is really a sign of lying but more a lack of oxygen to the brain. Maybe try to look for other tells such as eye contact, shuffling feet or body posture; maybe the you'll have your answer.

Well, he doesn't look me in the eyes either. I think he's lying. Either that or thinking. He's looked me right in the face before and lied to me that way too...so I guess he's just really good at it.

When I clicked on the link to the 'lie guy'....I saw an awful lot there about interogation techniques, etc. It was that that made me think of the cops. :/

More than likely a person can't help their yawns as Duke said. It's the body's need for oxygen.
It can however be a sign of disinterest Not great news that he's not interested in the conversation but I suppose it's better than lying
Yeah, because if someone's pants are on fire then you may want to avoid the relationship
Or chase down

Took you 5 days to think up that story?
Just a tip- You're gonna have to be a bit quicker when the cops come knocking or no amount of body language is gonna save you

I don't know but you've certainly given me a great idea.
