Your session will expire after 5 or 10 minutes of inactivity (no page refreshes) however it should not log you out. The only way you can logout here is if you physically click the Log Out link or perhaps don't have cookies enabled on your browser.

The best habit you can form however when posting anything of importance is either to CtrlA + CtrlC (select all, copy to clipboard) or better yet, keep a word program open in the background in the event there is a server hiccup or some other unfortunate event that causes you to lose all your content.

First off, I love your Avatar Meanon!! That is so cute. Secondly, I didn't realize there was a time limit on writing posts. I have never had that happen but then I don't write novels either!!!

Anyway, good info to know. Again I like the shoes. Too bad you can't have them kicking Dukes A$$.

There isn't one. There is only an active session period but it has nothing to do with what Meanon is experiencing.

The site simply does not log anyone out on it's own. I know this because I remain static in the forums for hours on end and have NEVER been logged out as a result of it.

What Meanon is experiencing is likely a browser issue or a setting somewhere, not a site related issue.
