Chat Party (Proposed)

Anyone up for a Lifesupporters.com Chat Party on Saturday September 8, 2007? If we do have one, the time will likely be somewhere around 12 noon (PST), 3 PM EST.

Thoughts?

sadly i only get a saturday off every 6 weeks and my next one is this saturday coming, so i wont be able to make it on the 8th, its unlikely i'll ever be able to make them

Should we start aiming for Sundays then?

I just like Saturdays because if people want to hoist a wobbly pop or two, they don't have to worry about work the next morning. BTW, if we were to have the chat party at around noon Saturday PST (3 PM EST), wouldn't you have already finished working for the day?

no fraid not, thats 9pm GMT and i start at 10pm so leave by 9:30. i work nights, 10pm-8am 5/6 days a week.

you dont have to change it to sundays coz of me, saturdays are probably more fun for you guys coz as you said they dont have to worry about work the next day and such. and i dont wanna spoil it for anyone. it doesnt matter.

You're not spoiling anything so no worries

You're every bit as important around here as everyone else so if we can find compromise, we'll endeavor to do so.

All I need is some more feedback from the rest of our members if perhaps a Sunday chat works? I guess the other thing we can look at is a later night on Saturday so it's morning time for you on Sunday but for everyone in NA, it's still Saturday night.

that might be too late maybe for you guys? its 11pm PST/2am EST i get home from work. if people dont mind to do sundays id love to take part.

im getting good at this time zone thing, i know that pacific is 8 hours behind me, central is 6 and eastern is 5. its strange what you realize you learn when mixing with people from another country.

I don't have a problem with either Saturday or Sunday. Sundays might even be better because I sometimes have TKD stuff on Saturdays and might miss it myself. Either day works for me. Just let me know time and day.

Saturdays will be extremely tricky for me in SA. Quite a few social obligations in all likelihood. Sundays have a much better chance of me actually attending .

In general however, they need to be early in the day for the Americans / Canadians, as the Europeans cannot afford to go to midnight by 3 AM.

But that seems to be sorted.

i wish i could say i could indeed make it on any day, life is kinda funny from me though. All i can say is.. If im near the computer when the chat party is happening i'll stop in.

As for me, I don't think I can. Originally I thought it wouldn't be too bad but I forgot that's my squad day and I can't miss that, I already miss it enough.

I know I voted for either or but the issue for me is that Sunday I have ongoing plans so it'll be rare if I can ever make a Sunday chat.

I prefer Saturdays anyway and tomorrow afternoon I will be gone. So I guess I won't be there either.

If you want to do one, just pick a day and go for it. If you try to please everyone, it will never happen. Those that can make it will. Vary it so that it is on Saturdays sometimes and Sundays other times. Then everyone gets to participate once in a while anyway. That is the only way it will work from what I can see. Too many different timezones and too many different schedules. I would have enjoyed it today.
