Sorry jessica but I'm not entirely sure what this means to be perfectly honest

When you refer to activism and volunteerism, what is it specifically that we should be covering? I guess what would really help me is some sort of link or reference to what both of these topics actually cover and how they would fit in here.

We're really trying to focus this site on family friendly information as well as create a self help and interpersonal support system so if you feel there is a need to add it here, lets discuss how it fits in and make it happen.

Thanks.

duke,

Its perfectly okay because most often they involve giving money as well. I'm not comfortable on giving anymore money now and then they want more after that.

Thank you.

Well just so you know, I'm perfectly willing to explore any direction that helps people. The only thing I ask is that I get help in flushing out new ideas because I'll be the first to admit that I don't know everything.

I do hope one day in the future to integrate a donations system here where a large portion of member donations (supporter dollars) go to a preferred charity of said members choice. This of course is a very long term target but it is definitely something I will be considering in the future.
