Teamspeak Server

A while ago a few of my friends and I had a need for our own TS Server. I had a few offers for our own TS Channel (GG was one of the fine folks to offer) but quite honestly, I'm better at giving than taking.

I was wondering how you all would feel if Lifesupporters/GameMovieMaking.com had our own Teamspeak Server?

All you would need to join is a mic/headset and you can talk real-time to other members for the grand total of $0.

i like the idea, just i dont know if you want/need the extra cosst of a ts server if only a small handful of us use it.

again i offer you a private/passworded channel on mine, and of course SA rights, so the offer is still there should you wish to take it

- or if you wish to *try* it out and see how much ls members use teamspeak before investing in one of your own.

The only thing that worries me about a TS Server is the potential security risks it brings with it. If I can iron that out then there should be no issues whatsoever with having one here.

I don't think it should cost me anything though and I definitely have enough bandwidth to cover it's usage/month.

Anyway, thanks for the offer GG, maybe it's a good thing to consider just to see if anyone here actually uses it on a regular basis.

Like I said, I'm all up for it. I could even host a server if I felt like setting one up. Not sure how often I would use it. But I would log on whenever I could.

no prob. i was just thinking about usage etc,

i mean i use teamspeak, but obviously i cant really be on 2 at the same time, so it would cut down mine (and fireblades) usage of it.

I will check out the link but I don't know if I would use it too much. If I lived by myself or had an area that was more private then I would love it.
