This is something I've been toying around with in my head for a while now. I haven't breathed much life into this idea at this time which is another reason why I'm requesting feedback.
Just a little background:
Putting a website online is pretty easy however, building it up is a very intensive and time consuming task. Since I'm my own worst enemy (a perfectionist), I tend to stall on projects and the site suffers in the process.
My Idea:
Create support teams here that have specific functions that all benefit the growth and development of lifesupporters.com for example:
- Wiki Team: Team dedicated to populating our wiki with content.
- Link Team: Team dedicated to adding our link and info (template) to online directories as well as engaging in reciprocal link campaigns.
- PR Team: Members who register at other sites online and try to educate people about this site and its benefits (driving in members).
I just want to state for the record that this is just an idea at this point in time and is by no means cemented. I wanted to post it here to get some feedback from you fine folks on the feasibility of programs such as these?
There also needs to be some type of reward system because I don't want Team Members to feel as if their work is not appreciated and/or going unnoticed.
