Chat Party Nov 10 or 11? (Proposed)

Anyone feel like meeting up for a small chat party this weekend? I know I could certainly use a few wobbly pops and an excuse to be a numbskull in chat.

Who's up for it and if so, which day (please reply on your preferred day)?

The timeframe will likely be around noon PST (3 PM EST).

Thoughts?

For those of you new to the site who've never been involved in a chat party, it's basically a timed get together onsite where we chat about everything and nothing at the same time. It's really just a chance to unwind and be a bit silly while getting to know your fellow members.

Some of us (myself included) will tip the odd wobbly pop now and again in chat. I normally don't drink at all but during chat it's kinda good for a chuckle.

Anyway, the chat is now held onsite in our own chat window with Ajax refresh set to 0 seconds (all submitted discussions are instantaneous). I also add the chat to the footer throughout the forums so if your onsite, you'll always see who's in the chat window.

I probably won't make it that early. I will be coming back from a tournament. But if by some fluke we leave early enough there is a possibility so that is why I picked Sunday. If I make it home I will definitely be here.

We can always adjust the time if it will help more people show up. By early accounts though, I'd say it doesn't look like it's convenient for anyone so maybe I'll push the date out two weeks unless we get more of a response.

Is that PST Vancouver (converter wants me to confirm location) or EST North America (not Australia)? If so I make it 8pm here - a bit early for me but I could do 8.45pm both days at the moment. NB weekend is 10th/11th not 11th/12th

EST NA and PST Vancouver should bring you the same results but either way, it's yes to both questions.

Funny thing about the dates, I always get them wrong

if im still awake tonight i may be around, but its kinda busy as i just been travelling 200 miles, had 2 hours sleep in 2 days and i have to travel another 2 hours to the airport first thing in the morning to fly out to america....

....sooooo basically if im awake i'll be here tonight, if not um i cant make it this time around

I think maybe we'll put this one off for another two weeks due to my lack of notice. That will take us to 24 or 25; does that work better for everyone?
