New Orleans sports teams

The NO saints are looking to move to san antonio permenantly and the hornets are looking to move to oklahoma city.

I'm not much of a sports fan.....but what would be the reasoning behind that? It's not like the whole state is messed up....it's just New Orleans and some coasta areas.

They can probably make more money in other cities.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a 'home state' team? I would think it would be a morale blow to the people of that state for their teams to haul butt.

Granted they would have a hard time playing this year due to a shortage of local hotel/motel rooms....but they could play 'away' this year and just train in another location. Then again....I know little about how these things work.

well texas or oklahoma would be the new home state.
