Default Football
I couldn't find the old thread so am starting a new one! I'm having Football withdrawals so I decided to tape the B.C. Lions vs. Edmonton game on Friday night. I've just finished watching it and I'm happy again!

I guess it is a continental thing. I saw some great games, when I was in the US last Christmas. Modern football (soccer) becomes too boring, because too much is at stake.

I think what Luba was talking about was Canadian Football. I don't think we have a team called the BC Lions, BC standing for British Columbia I believe. Our football hasn't started yet.

Canadian Football is virtually the same as American Football with the exception of one less down and we tend to "air the ball out" much more where the Americans tend to run the ball.

Football is considered soccer over the pond is it not?
