Default Why do men think flowers fix everything?

I talked to Greg last night and told him how I felt about our relationship, he said he wants to work on it he always does and I said he need to work on himself 1st. he said nothing and went to bed. Today he brings a dozen roses and acts like nothing happened and everything is o.k. EURRG it's so annoying why do men think flowers fix everything?

Do those count if they are embedded in the cutting tip of a piece of hardware? It's like a gift for everyone.

most men don't know how to communicate with a woman so they bring flowers or chocolates. they think we forget everything when we get those. Men are just foolish creatures.

I hate giving flowers, every time i have it always burns me. I like to give candy, though i rarely do. Presents should be spontaneous not expected or as a way to change someone's emotions.

I try to give my woman a small bouquet of flowers at least once a month and usually on Sundays. I just use them as a sign that I'm thinking of them and I always make sure to include a little card in there as well.

I've yet to hear one complaint.

Glad to see you're thinking of you mom Duke!

But you're right, I think flowers are a wonderful thing to give as long as you give your time and listen to her along with it.

Most of my friends have always been men and I know that what Star said is true. They DON'T know. I think you have to look beyond the flowers and see the heart which is trying to communicate with you and say he is sorry in the only way he knows how to say it.

See...if you hurt his feelings and then gave him a great power tool....he would be happy. He is thinking the flowers mean the same to you.

Accept the flowers as a token of his love and TALK TO HIM. It seems he is reaching out to you.......

Myhusband that I love with all of my heart has a real hard time to say I'm sorry. He'll show me that he's sorry instead by doing things for me or giving me little gifts.

I used to get all upset with him because he didn't ever want to talk about things that bothered me. I don't get upset anymore. He's just being a man. Men don't and will never feel as women do about talking. The things that seem to bother us most are just petty little meaningless things to them.

Now his famous answer to me is "yes dear" and I like it like that! I've got him trained well.

I used to give flowers on a regular basis (albeit, not as regularly as Duke gives flowers to his mommy..................Paul, IMLMFAO!!)

Anyway I stopped after she began to complain about my lack of spontaneouty.

Now I think I'll surprise her with a divorce decree.
