Myhusband that I love with all of my heart has a real hard time to say I'm sorry. He'll show me that he's sorry instead by doing things for me or giving me little gifts.
|
Men are from Mars? Probably the most useful thing I read in Grey's book was his definition of saying "Sorry" for men (I am at fault and therefore weak) and its different meaning for women (I feel badly about whatever is bothering you). Knowing this is how females interpret it makes saying it much easier.

The things that seem to bother us most are just petty little meaningless things to them.

Yeah? And vise versa, kiddo.

Now his famous answer to me is "yes dear" and I like it like that! I've got him trained well.

May Thor put a bolt of lightning through my brain before I'm this "well trained."

I think it comes down to when a man says he's sorry....he's sorry for what he did. He doesn't need to back it up with some psychological babble or 3 gifts for over $1000.
Is it good enough for women? Sometimes it is...sometimes it isn't.
If it is....forgive him and let it go. If it's not....tell you can do better and for him to hit the road.
Life can be THAT simple.

Ya right, I agree the issue can be black and white but executing the plan is always much more complex.

Duke hit the nail on the head: It's really easy to say you're sorry, but its almost impossible to fake the level of sincerity needed to satisfy a female!

You guys have got to face one thing....there just happens to be a whole lot of really stupid shallow females out there. I don't know where they come from or what they are thinking either. If I was a man....I'd be all confused about what could possibily be going thru their minds.
It takes awhile to find one which isn't a complete self absorbed TARD! I know some great guys who have gotten some really rotten deals from their wives/girlfriends.
A married woman isn't a 'baubble on a pedestal'....she is a 'help mate'....if she can't deal with that....I just feel sorry for the guy stuck with her.
