How wierd is this???? The kid's dead beat AssClown of a Dad just called me. It seems he feels 'guilt' for not paying child support or seeing his kids on a regular basis (yes, there has been those 3 year lags) while they were growing up. The child support he has paid has equaled out at 2.00 a month per kid for 12 years....LMAO! ANYWAY....he wants to make things right and said he would send $150.00 a week until he has me paid in full.

I told him the relationship he forms with the kids is more important to me than the money. So...... here's wondering as to what he will do.

Good thing he caught me at beer 8 or I would've cussed him out....as per usual.

That would be great if he meant it, do you think he does? What brought on the turnaround, I wonder?

You know alot of this retarded story due to our emails. I know he has a tendency to try to 'fix things' whenever he feels the need to get it right with God. He means it everytime, just like any other drug addict, but there has always got to be the belief in my heart that at some point he will straighten out and the God in his heart....will be bigger than the drugs in his hurt and need.

So...I don't know and guess I can't judge. I know Jackson and Chloe have both prayed for a good relationship with their Dad. Maybe their prayers have strengthened his. Again...I just don't know.

All I can say is that at this point....the money is irrelevant. For my kids to have a unhurt heart and a relationship means more than a million bucks to me. I hope that can be accomplished. If only until he screws up again.

And I want to add to that particular post Luba in how much I thank you for being supportive in the emails and understanding the longing of a Mom to fix everything between their children and their Dad. If nothing else...I hope all our kids know how much we love them and how much it hurts us when we can't give them the life we wish we could've from the day we knew they were going to be born.

I hope if this forum does nothing else....it will bond age groups to understand how hard it is to make life perfect. Not having a perfect life is no indication that someone somewhere didn't love you with all that is within them.

Wow I give you credit, I probably wouldn't have handled that as gracious as you do ..... I will probably be in a similar situation with Noah's dad.. it is very sad.

The only thing you can do is let your children be the judge of character now I just hope he doesn't disipoint them

take the money and save it for your kids and split it and give each half when they are 18.
