Drawn to losers too!! I always try ti help them and keep hoping that they'll make it. Those who do I dump, those who don't dump me, LOL!!!

Ex #1 = physical abuser who also ran around on me and didn't work

Ex #2 = Gambling addict who also ran around on me and expected me to give him my whole paycheck

Ex #3 = Severe alcoholic and drug abuser. Still hasn't changed to this day.

Ex #4 = Had severe "mother" issues. Controlling. Physically and emtionally abusive.

Ex #5 = Never worked, or if he did for only weeks or days. Was mean to my children. Controlling.

Ex# 6 = Loser of all losers. Seriously drove me over the edge. Extorted money. Physically, emotionally, and very verbally abusive. Stalker on top of it. Never could keep a job very long. Everyone hated him, including his own family.

i have the same problems with men, I mother them and end up getting burned, i think most woman are nurturing and some men take advantage of it

Yeah, I've read a couple of them just recently. My last divorce was in 2001 and I've been doing some "me work" since then.

It's because we're "saviors" or "rescuers".

I refuse to 'fix' anyone. If a guy is all messed up....he can take himself on down the road. You just can't make someone different than who they are. The longer you help them....the longer YOU are the victim. Get the h*ll out.

However, I do think guys like this have the capacity to be great con-artists. They know all the right words and behavior to draw you up into their web....so they can prey on you until you have nothing left to give. That's why so many women fall for them though.
