Default Have you ever sabotaged a relationship?

I know I have just because I felt it was easier to make her want to leave than to break her heart by telling her it was over.

I've done it subconsciously in every relationship I've ever been in. I wonder if there's some psychlogical reason or if it just signifies I'm dysfunctional. LOL!

I think it just means you'd rather be alone. Either that or you have a deep fear of commitment, or you can't stand sharing.

I don't commit OR share well.

I read this on the internet: I find no end of amusement at the fact that to be "committed" means BOTH "to be involved in a serious relationship" and "to become a patient at a mental hospital." LOL!

I wonder what makes some people need a relationship in their life while others, such as myself, don't seem to care.

HA! Well, love is a kind of insanity.

I've never consciously sabotaged a relationship. I'm not sure that it would be easier for the person on the receiving end to slowly have their love extinguished than for them to hear that it's over. Many people need to understand the reason why a relationship has ended in order to accept it and let it go. If you can end it well then at least you are left with happy memories.

I don't need a relationship in my life but I am happier when I love and am loved in return.

I have to admit....I'm a ninny when it comes to breaking up with someone!
I'm not even good at turning down guys for a date. I tell them to call me back about it the next day and then I just avoid the phone for a long time.
