Default For you believers

Do you believe the world will end shortly? I'm just curious. What do you plan to do with the time left?

I don't plan to change my life. The bible says God created the earth in 7 days. Who is to say one of God's days wasn't hundreds of years? Therefore, the end of the world could still be eons away. I do worry about the unrest in the Mid East however but there isn't anything I can do so why worry about it.

I don't think about the world ending. to be honest, i don't think it's going to end in my lifetime, my kid's lifetime or even my grandchildren's lifetime. If we worry about that all the time, then we're not really living are we.

It's best not to think about it.

I also don't think that the world is ending! I was a kid on the school bus when I heard THAT story, and look how LONG ago THAT was!

What I DO believe is making the MOST of each day, because our OWN personal time isn't guarateed....

Considering that women don't age after 35, I would say that that was in 1986?

I'm sure it will end eventually but I have no particular time frame because I'm no prophet!

IF someone believes the Bible literally...then there are signs. Probably the two greatest would be that there would be earthquakes, famines, calamities, war, rumors of war, storms, etc that would come closer and closer together as the birth pains of a woman.

God said a day is as 1000 years. There were 7 days, a week, given to Satan when man sinned. (Sin just meaning you are doing something that takes you out of fellowship with God usually due to your own guilt.) Back to the 7 days/ 7000 years. Jesus won back the Sabbath...1000 years that He will rule and reign on earth. That would put us at a 6000 marker. That marker has many variations due to calendar changes thru the years.

The biggest variation is the 7 years of tribulation. Some Christians think God will take them out before the tribulation, some believe it's half way, others think they will be here until Jesus' return. The teachings on this is in Revelations and the book of Joel (my personal favorite).

Question always will be - when do you know you are in the tribulation? Well, again the Bible explains what to look for in that too.

I don't worry about it either way. I worry more that I won't be in my heart where I want to be when I die....whenever that may occur.

People go off on tangents and now they've got a half baked DiVinci Code...but for me....I'm gonna go with my God on this one and believe what He has to say.

I firmly believe that the world is going to end exactly on the day it is going to end and not one day sooner.

Having said that, I feel that the world as we know it is going to end soon. Isn't there a song about that? Then it must be true! How soon and how big the changes are going to be I don't have a clue but I would guess, soon is somewhere between 20 seconds and 20 years to be exact.

Oh, I forgot the second part of the question, "What am I going to do?" I'm going to enjoy every moment and love with all my heart and I am going to trust in God, he is my Rock and my Fortress. It's kind of cool to have your own Fortress.
