Unwitting Porn Star
I'm not adding in the link for this article...since I don't want to link up with anything leading to a porn type film. This only caught my attention since this famous rocker happens to be a cousin of my daughter in law.
The question is....in this day of web hacking and porn being submitted.....why would ANYONE agree to have filmed sex....regardless of the situation? Couples break up, computers get hacked, films get passed around.....anything can happen to put your private moments in public view.
I'll put in under religion...but I don't mean it as a moral call....it's just a common sense call that people should stay away from engaging in it to avoid future embarassment.
------------------------------------------------------------------
MARCH 4--One week after a sex video starring Fred Durst began circulating on the Internet, the Limp Bizkit front man has filed a $80 million lawsuit against web sites that posted the footage and stills from the singer's X-rated romp with a former girlfriend. In a federal copyright infringement/invasion of privacy complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Durst notes that he recorded the racy video around 2003 (with the consent of his partner) and that it was "never intended to be shown to the public." In a declaration filed with the lawsuit, Peter Katsis, Durst's personal manager, states that he was contacted last December by the "owner of a pornographic video company" who claimed to have access, via a third party, to a video showing Durst having sex. Katsis said he rejected the individual's offer to sell the video and share the profits. Katsis said that he eventually spoke directly with the third party, who is not identified, and again rejected proposals to commercially exploit the video. In his declaration, Katsis noted that he was aware of the existence of a Durst sex video, but believed that it was stored safely on the hard drive of the performer's personal computer. However, on February 25, Katsis said that the third party told him that Durst's computer had been hacked and that stills from the video had been posted online (the third party, Katsis reported, told him that "the same individuals who hacked into Paris Hilton's cell phone" had stolen the video from Durst's computer). In a declaration filed in support of a motion for a temporary restraining order against the web sites, Durst lawyer Edwin McPherson stated that Secret Service agents were investigating the Hilton and Durst hacks as "connected" events.

This is why I would never make an "intimate video" with even my husband. Nor would I take revealing photos. These things do get out and bite you back in the arse when things go sour. I hope he wins his case. He should!

I wouldn't even want my autopsy photo's on the net. I'm surprised at the personal stuff which gets posted on the net without getting sued for it. I realize some things fall under 'public record'....but people's phone calls, pics and films.....should be off limits without written permission.
I don't usually feel sorry for movie stars and such.....but they really have problems when their own cell phones are hacked and their personal information put on the net. No one deserves that.
I think we, as the public, should stand with them and let these sites know that we don't want to participate in SPYING on someone's life. It's just wrong.

it depends on the person, some people liked being watched, others use it to show off to friends

i do agree with you 100% merika. spying on a person is so wrong. even the stars need some kind of private life for sanity reasons. I'd go bananas if i was followed and spied on all the time. that really would be kind of creapy.

I'm not a big Paris Hilton fan.....but the thought of someone hacking her cell phone and publishing it on the web....was totally unacceptable....especially since her last boyfriend published their sexual adventures. I actually felt sorry for the young, beautiful....ultra rich girl.
DA....when people are young....they sometimes overlook the end consequences. ONE DAY they will have a family and perhaps even an important job or want run for office. This sort of thing may really come back to totally embarass them and everyone else involved.

I think it's a publicity stunt.

Have you ever SEEN Fred Durst? It's not like he's a hottie or anything. If I were going to watch porn....it sure wouldn't be with HIM showing all! LOL!

He's not hot but neither is Tommy Lee. These guys don't need to be good looking, their famous, rich and extremely popular.

Never leave a paper trail.
I'm careful what I sign and I'm extra careful what I put on film.
Don't worry Merika, our tapes are in a high security vault 20 feet underground.

I've taped and taken pictures SEVERAL times it's never came back to haunt me YET!! ( knocking on wood) most we're with my son's father and as much as we hate eachother he would NEVER let them get out ( I am his son's mom so he respects that) BUT there was also another time when I was really drunk and made the same stupid mistake, but I don't talk to that one anymore, I'm probably apart of some stupid Smut collection somewhere
