Regarding Fayebelle
Fayebelle will be off of Lifesupporters for LENT. 40 days without Fayebelle seems UNBEARABLE...but I'll support her choice and just HOPE she changes her mind or swaps out Lifesupporters with something else before the given time period.
I'll keep her updated through email....so lets give her some juicy topics to mull over!!

I'm catholic. The catholic religion goes through lent up until easter. It's something that you sacrifice for that period of time. It can be anything you choose. Usually people will choose their weaknesses to sacrifice such as sweets, alcohol, television, etc...
Since I don't practice my religion as I don't believe in following religion, I don't participate in those rituals. My mother does that though. She's the only one in my whole family that does.

Star, HAPPY BIRTHDAY for ERIKA!!!!!!!!!!
Three months is quite an achievement, I must admit!!
Ok, I've got it. But I'm not Catholic, I don't even consider myself a religious person.
I am simply plain SELFISH! I want my Faye on LS !!! SO I'm sorry, but I'll do anything I can to have her here, like it or not  !

Well I'll definately miss her for 40 days. Does that mean she's free to post for the next 40 nights?

Well if it's for her own good then I stand behind her 110%. No matter, the site will always be here for her and we'll greet her just as warmly on day 41 as we would any other day.

I think maybe it should be since the main topic is lent. it is a religious thing.

I put it in Off Topic so the most amount of people would know why Fayebelle wasn't posting today.
But now that it's in RELIGION....... I have to truly say that I don't understand Biblically where the notion of LENT comes from in a Catholic view point. Are there scriptures to that effect?
Not AT ALL questioning Faybelle's decision....just wondering.....

I'm not sure how doing without something important to you has anything to do with organized religion at all. It seems a little off to me but then I'm not really a religious person either.
