Default Moses

I think about Moses having to face Pharoah over and over again-God Himself assuring him that Pharoah would refuse and reject him.
I suppose man has to deal with a lot of rejection in life so he learns to say "in spite of that, the Lord loves me."

Rejection is just one of life's problems. I have to remember that God loves me in spite of EVERYTHING!

It's hard to imagine the forgiving grace of an omnipotent God huh? It's even harder to imagine the all encumpassing love he has for us, or what he's willing to tollerate from us and still forgive. In fact it's so unbelieveable i don't know if it is believeable (just trying to make the point that people tend to reject what they can't see, without validation)

A recurring theme in the New Testament is "sharing in the sufferings of Christ-the prophets are often seen pleading for themselves-even Christ "remove this cup from Me"
People reject the unknown, true and they despise what they feel is familiar. If you want to do something of any lasting significance you face a lot of pain and rejection-it has a personal significance for me because I can't live without the challenge-because I've seen the monster and it loathes me.

There is something to be said about enjoying the trip on the way to the promised land. If I begin feeling all miserable...I can bet it's MY FAULT and not God's.

A person should live for more than just pleasure-if you want to make a mark it's got to cost you.

I guess if someone was called to be a martyr or something. I'm just not all that ambitious. LOL!

Seriously, as far as my religion and my country....I would be willing to die for it. But I don't think it should be the whole focus. You just do what you are called to do....enjoy it....and if you end up dying for it....then that's the way it was supposed to be.

Life requires sacrifice at many levels short of martyrdom.
Moses wasn't martyred-the point I was bringing up was the depth of the man's faith in the face of fire-many lesser things have me crying like a little girl-I have a few burdens now that have me sobbing like a little puppy..

I'm not sure that we all don't Hezekiah. Sometimes life is about moving forward in spite of............

Most of us on here got to know each other due to a major personal crisis which was going on in our lives at the time. So...please know you aren't alone and that we do understand....and care.

I just don't know what to say to make you feel better my friend.

I believe that the lord died for our sins and HE WILL forgive us, sometimes it is harder to forgive OURSELVES so we assume the lord can't or won't.

He died on the cross for our Sins, and HE forgives so if we ask him to do so he will and we should burry it and let it be. Easier said then done yes,

Forgive yourself for your burdens because Christ will

Amen Stone-Merika it's meaningful that you care.
The suffering produces something-I wont have what Moses has but I will have something.
I really don't envy those who live for idle pleasure-it's a very wealthy country-I've been poor but I'm not now-I'm a little afraid for the future but right now I'm seeing a lot someone could do and I don't have the resources and I'm frustrated because I want a piece of the action-I feel like I'm out in the rain.

But I will get some lititure on it Friday and try to pass some along

I believe I'll get a shot-I'm just impatient and uneasy-I've made a lot of mistakes-I go back and forth between "hurry up,God" and "Slow down,God"
I"m glad He's more patient than me...
