Default LENT

Since FAY is participating in LENT I have been quite intriuged about the meaning of it.

If you had to give up one thing for 45 days what would it be??

Mine would be TV, but probably more perminantly there is really a bunch of crap on TV and I barley watch any of it. Someone I know actully gave up the TElly for LENT last year and they watched it the 46th day and didn't miss it one bit.

Um...I'm not trying to sound rude or anything... But it's "lent"...

Since the purpose of lent is to give up something that's hard to give up, I'd have to say that IF I participated in lent, I would stay off the computer unless it was for stuff I absolutelly needed to do. Since I fly in a flight simulator to train for my real life flying, I don't think I can go without that.

Most days I spend atleast 3 hours on my computer., usually most of that is "wasted", according to what I consider.

I should be doing lent since i am a catholic but i don't. If I did though, I would give up the computer or junk food.

Isn't lent only for 40 days? that's what i always thought but i could be wrong.

Did you also know that on good friday, we're not supposed to eat any meat. people usually eat fish that day. That rule used to apply for every friday all year round in the olden days.

I guess wearing pants for 45 days would be one of the toughest things for me to do.
