An update
I have an update,everything in the adotion progress is going great.Kyle and Olivia,the twins we are adopting stayed over for the weekend last week.They both got to know my husband and I more,they say I am going to be a cool adoptive mom.They saw my car collection which I have.They also picked their rooms and painted them with their color choices.Kyle painted his green with the ceiling Blue and Olivia painted hers purple with a pink border.My husband and I did help out.Their mom passed away a couple weeks ago and they understand their mother was suffering.My husband and I did go to the funeral and met everyone.Everyone knows Kyle and Olivia are going to a loving home with loving and caring adoptive parents.We did go to their 15th birthday party on Feb. 22nd and met their friends.Kyle and Olivia did like their birthday presents,I got Olivia 2 pairs of hoop earrings which she liked and my husband got Kyle dvd sets of Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe.He liked them too.We go to court on April 10th to finalize the adoption and we are very excited about this.

Sorry to hear Kyle and Olivia's mom passed away.
 . But is wonderful to know that the both of them will be well-taken care of, and that they are adapting quite well to the situation. Hopefully the court proceedings on April 10th will finalize the custody. It seems you and your husband and the kids are adapting quite well to the situation. Keep us updated, and hope everything will work out fine for you.

We are adapting very well becoming a family next month.The caseworker is very impressed with us and sees my husband and I are going to be great parents.We are going to plan a welcome to the family party after the adoption is final.We have been talking to an adoption lawyer for legal advice and it has been helping out.

Sorry to hear their Mom passed away!
I pray she was at Peace when that happened, knowing her children were going to be cared for with SO much LOVE! I get goosebumps reading your posts, Caitlynnb, and how you are planning a Welcoming Party...how GREAT is that?  |

I can't tell you enough how much it warms my heart that you and your husband have taken these children in as your own.

My husband and I are very excited to become parents.My sister in law Renee and I are planning the welcome to the family party.Their mom was at peice when she passed away.Kyle and Olivia have figured me out and recently told me that I look like supermodel Heidi Klum.I told them my husband does too and they are right about that.
