So far,I love being a mom and taking full responsibility.I am looking towards Mother's day on Sunday knowing I am a mom now.Before I became a mom,I asked my mom for advice and my mom told me this: Responsibility and step up.Her advice has helped.Kyle and Olivia treat me with respect and call me mom.I am getting to know them and their friends.Their friends say I am cool and I am glad they have great friends.Jeffrey,one of Kyle's friends recently told me that he saw me on tv,the Volkswagon commercial with Heidi Klum in it making the car blush and I laughed.Kyle and Olivia impressed my husband and I,they do everything without being asked.I came home from work yesterday,the dishes were washed,garbage put out and their homework was done.I have met their teachers,school counsoler.I did meet Kyle's German langauge teacher,noticed my German accent and he asked me to stop by last week.Kyle was looking at me and I said yes.That was fun and Kyle was glad I did this.

You are doing great. I think it is a big compliment when a peer of one of your children comments on how cool you are. It also shows you have a strong bond with Kyle and Olivia, and that makes parenting very enjoyable.

That is what my mom is saying too and she has been a great help to me being a parent.Olivia and I have a great mother/daughter relationship.Kyle and I are close too and he always tells me that he loves me.Same as olivia,she does the same.They both great to my dog Zoe also,they throw her tennis ball,in the backyard and Zoe brings it back to them.

They were raised the best way,my husband and I like that.Kyle and Olivia have something up for Mother's day for me and I get to know it on Sunday.Olivia and I are going to a mother/daughter banquet on Friday night with my mom which I have going to for a long time with my mom.I did comfort Olivia last week,she was molested by her father when she was 10 years old and I told her that she was not alone.I told her that I was badly raped at her age,15.It was haunting her and she did tell me that her father was convicted what he did to her.She asked me how I coped through when I was badly raped and knows she is not alone.My husband and I proud of them,they already picked out what they want to do for their careers,Kyle wants to work on cars like me and Oliva wants to be an artist.My husband I see Olivia has a great talent being an artist,she did a drawing of me with a wrench in my hand and the German flag behind me.I still have it,it is framed and in my den hanging on the wall.
