Default The Putative Father's Registry...the What?

THE OHIO PUTATIVE FATHER REGISTRY-THE WHAT?

I watched an episode of "Dr. Phil" yesterday and felt so sorry for the father of a baby who doesn't seem to have any rights left as he didn't fill out forms at the "Putative Father's Registry" which no one has really heard about. So, fathers'-to-be, beware! You may have no say in the fact that your partner gives your baby up for adoption and doesn't need your consent...you may have to go to Court, spend thousands of dollars, and are at the mercy of the Court.

Why can't they use more recognizable words. Who in the hell thought that was a logical name?

The person who came up with it. Of course that person is representative of 0.1% of the general population ...

I'm sorry but that is just plain stupid.

3 letters: DNA

A father has just as much right to have and be with their children as does the mother.
