Default my inner turmoil....

as my next birthday approaches I'm in turmoil about being a parent or not being a parent. Without getting into things when I was sick and going through treatments my doctors told me I might not be able to have children and that depressed me deeply. To make a long story short after the treatments I took some other tests and my doctors told me I shouldnt rule out parenthood. On came the euphoria. I should be happy but my birthday is coming and my clock is ticking faster and faster....I have just realized after reading some on my recent posts that they have been kinda sad. I want to assure you that I have had a happy life and I'm a happy person thanks for letting me vent

awww,

Of course, being a man I will never be so closely confronted with issues like this. But I can well imagine that it seriously affects you. It is hard to deal matters like this, even if you know what you want.

I hope you will be able to find peace with yourself on this, BattleAxe. You definitely deserve that. Vent all you want, we are there for you.

I can see where this would be an issue that you really have to come to peace with inside your own heart. It probably makes it worse due to the age that you are at lots of women are either discussing wanting children or discussing the children they already have.

I'm good with being a mom but I can truly say that had I not had any children I would not have lived an unhappy or dissatisfied life. I think each person is different when it comes to that need.

I AM sorry you are going thru a tough time.
