Default Modelling good listening skills

From the front page:

If you're too busy thinking of an answer before the question is asked then it's likely you need some work on your listening skills. If you’re the biggest influence in your child’s early years and they have a problem with their listening skills, who do you think is likely to blame?

Focus Adolescent Services gives us some guidelines on how we can model good listening skills for our children. The article also gives us some insight into how to improve communication with our children.

That's a great article!

I'm sure my kids would say I'm VERY guilty of cutting them off in mid-sentence. Funny part is.....they both do it too! The article is correct in that kids learn these behaviors from us as parents.

I think I may just redirect to the news article on the front page when posting in these topics. That way I can tell if anyone actually reads the articles by the reads and comments stats.

Yeah.....you'll for sure get more comments on the forum than you will on the front page comment area. Those are hard to find and not as interactive as the forum is.

That's true, but at least I get some sort of feedback that the news is actually being read. I wonder if I can configure images and re-directs to count as reads, hmmn.
