What are you supposed to wear when you are to fat for your regular clothes and to thin for maternity clothes... the "inbetween months"

If you were here you could just walk around in your underwear. I wouldn't complain much.

Any excuse to talk about pant, hey duke? One track mind

It's mainly trousers I had this problem with. You could sew an elasticated panel in so you don't have to zip up, if you are wearing long tops. If you have to buy maternity clothes shop around for some that are adjustable, you should be able to wear them now.

I would imagine the better maternity shops would have styles which you could losen as time went along....but wouldn't hang like a rag early on. If you are just at home....X-large T shirts are wonderful....but it can get costly if you have to go to work.

Thats what I was referring to......adjustable pants and skirts. I'm sure the better maternity shops have them.

I used to go to stores like Goodwill also. There are people who give away some nice maternity clothes and you can get them for a great price. During the summer, I still go there for lots of $2 T-shirts for my son because he's always losing his at the pool.

thrift stores are great for clothes like maternity. I sent mine all up to goodwill when i was through with them. The stuff that people give away sometimes are amaizing. I go there once in awhile to check things out. You never know what you'll come home with for a good price.

Thrift Stores or Consignment Stores generally don't have great little boy clothes....because boys are rough on clothes. However, they always have fabulous little girl clothes. I bought tons of girly clothes for Isis when she was young.....thinking she didn't notice the difference.

When she was around 4 she told me she wanted 'ticket' clothes for her birthday. I asked her what that meant. SHe said clothes with hanging tickets on them from a real store instead of clothes other kids had worn. It was SO CUTE. To this day....when I take her shopping...I still ask if she wants to go get some 'ticket' clothes.

That's soooo cute!!! LOL!

I never shopped at thrift stores for my kids clothes unless it was for halloween. I used to make their clothes when they were younger. I'd make the cutest little outfits! People used to ask where I bought them! Can't buy those unless you make them yourself.

I'm going to start sewing again. This time for Erika. I love those little dresses with the elastic panties that go on top of their diapers. Especially when they crawl! OMG! it's soooo cute! We can dress little baby girls like the dolls we used to play with. LOL!

I never had a boy. but I do have a couple of nephews and I know how hard it is to find good clothes for them. There isn't much of a variety.
