Default Have you ever asked your child...

what is the one thing they would have you change about yourself as a parent?

I've asked my daughter the question twice tonite and aside from me moving closer to her she couldn't think of anything she'd like to see me change. I'm a little suprised by her answer actually.

Ask your child what they would like you to change about yourself and please post it here.

You'll be amazed.

I'd also stress that it's a question you pose every so often. Your kids are constantly changing, therefor, so are their requirements of you. Asking this type of question may help to keep you in the know a little more.

Well I asked my kids that question and they looked at me like i was an alien or something.

They never did give me an answer so I guess that means that I don't need to change anything.

They may not completely understand why you're asking it but I'm sure it's something they will grow to appreciate as they get older.

Both mine thought I should:

1. Quit being so picky about how the house looks.
2. Quit being (as Snoopy calls it) Snitchy with a B.

Is there any truth to what they say?
