My husband and I are very excited,we will hopefully adopting a couple of children and finally found a couple of children we hopefully to adopt,Their names are Kyle and Olivia,twin brother and sister.We did get to know them tonight and Kyle amazed me.He spoke to me in German saying hello and noticed my German accent.They are 14 years old and will be 15 in two weeks.Their mom is dying of a longtime battle with MS and her wishes are to keep them together placing under adoption.

Caitlynn, Congratulations to you and your husband for adopting these children in order for them to be SO loved and stay together! I've got tears in my eyes just responding to your beautiful post!
You and your husband are also giving their Mom so much peace! You both are truly an inspiration!  |

Their mother made a will with a lawyer before she was diagnosed with MS 4 years ago and one was to put her kids up for adoption together if anything happens to her.My husband are happy still and are looking to make the adoption final in May.Kyle knows how to speak German and I like that.We are invited to their birthday party on the 22nd.Kyle is a huge Mythbusters and Dirty jobs with Mike Rowe fan,Olivia likes hoop earrings and the grandparents told us this for a suggestion for birthday gifts.

It is wonderful that the mother had the presence of mind to arrange what would happen to her children while she is still alive. It is better for the children as well, as they are aware of the situation and know what is going to happen.
By the sounds of it Kyle and Olivia are nice children  .

Caitlynn, please keep us posted on this topic! I am excited and happy for you and your husband, and the children are SO fortunate to stay together! It is WONDERFUL what you are doing! It's so awe-inspiring to see good people like you doing such Loving things!

Congratulations to you and your husband for your new family! i find it very inspiring to see that there are people out there who will adopt grown children, especially teenagers. was their mother a friend of yours? again, congratulations!

Thanks and they are very nice kids.Their mother was not a friend of us,she sees that we take care of them and love them.We did meet her and sees we are very caring people.Kyle and Olivia know their mom is going to die and the doctors say she has a month to live.My parants are very excited too,they are gong to accept and love them as their grandchildren.Kyle and Olivia have met my parents today and my parents welcomed them in their lives.
